1. 概要

 i3-config-wizard を起動して設定したものでは、動作しないので、設定をいじります。  設定をいじるのも、あちこちの紹介サイトでは

~/.config/i3/config
 に設定を書くように説明しているのですが。  i3-config-wizard が作成するのは

~/.i3/config
 です。
i3wm - FreeBSD 12.0 - ログアウト

 (もしかしたら、チェックは「~/.config/i3/config」「~/.i3/config」の両方やっているのかもしれません)

 何の因果か、上記のファイルを i3-config-wizard で作成すると、ログイン後、うんともすんとも言わなくなるので、自前で作ります。

 元とするのは「/usr/local/etc/i3/config.keycodes」なのですが


/usr/local/etc/i3/config.keycodes
/usr/local/etc/i3/config
 のインストール直後のデフォルトの状態を掲載しておきます。

 11行目で、$mod の定義を行っておりますが、Mod1 が Alt になるようです。  「i3: i3 User’s Guide」によれば Win キーは Mod4 になるらしい(つ~か、実際そうだ)。
